"Five years." Silvanna sighed. "Don't worry, they'll be home soon! I hope Soren loves the stuff I picked out to wear for him!" Eliska, Silvanna's very close friend giggled. Their boys, Soren and Leon, were sent to the camps to fight the war. Soren voluntarily went into the military, Leon, not so much. Leon was sent there because of a heavy drug bust one night after a huge national football game. He used to play on the national team for Germany,  you see.

Leon and Soren had written to their girls at home as much as possible, just as the girls did for them. The girls checked the mail as soon as it got there. 12:30 p.m. Right on time. Eliska handed Silvanna her envelope and she took hers. Quickly ripping hers open, she read it with a blush and cute giggles. She was so head over heals about this boy, it was just silly and precious at the same time. "Soren said they would be home within a month if everything goes smoothly!" Eliska squealed in happiness. Silvanna looked down at her letter. 'Odd… It seems to not be the same office that Leon is at.' Silvanna thought to herself, carefully opening the envelope. Leon was the new commander of the German military, you see. However, this letter came from the Office of the departed.

Silvanna opened the folded letter. 'Something doesn't feel right.' she thought. How right she was. As she read, her eyes just watered, and just quickly broke down into tears. Eliska was surprised, usually Silvanna was blushing and smiling at his letters, but tears? Something must have gone wrong. "Silvanna! What happened?!" She quickly rushed to her friends side, pulling into a hug and trying to calm her down. Silvanna held the letter out to her. She didn't want to believe what was on the letter was true. Eliska quickly read it over, her jaw just dropped. She read one line that summarized everything: 'Leon Schäfer has been killed in the line of battle.' She hugged her Italian friend close. She had no idea what she'd do without her Soren if something like this ever happened to him.

One month later, the preparations went as planned. The military personal were coming home today. Silvanna wore a rather dark outfit and was skinnier than normal from the lack of eating. Eliska wore something cute since Silvanna wouldn't let her wear anything too sexy just yet. "Silvanna… Are you sure you want to go to this? I mean-"
"… I just need to be there for his spirit, at least. Just to show that even in death, I'd still wait for him." Silvanna said in her sad, mono-tone voice. Eliska frowned and got into the passenger side of Silvanna's expensive car and both headed towards the airport. Many tears were shed by many loved ones. Silvanna sat down in a chair and watched them all, happy for them, however jealous that they had come home to their lovers arms.

Soren soon stepped out of the plane, and located Eliska almost instantly. Eliska of course cried out of pure joy and ran to hug her beloved. Soren tightly hugged her, not able to help but shed a few tears himself out of pure happiness. What he did next  was what made Silvanna just break. Soren got down on one knee and proposed to Eliska, asking her hand in marriage. Eliska of course cried out of pure happiness more than she already was. "YES. YES I WILL MARRY YOU SOREN!!"  Everybody was just so happy but Silvanna was just torn to pieces. She just couldn't take it anymore, it got too much for her. Silently, she got up and ran off back to her car, just breaking down all over again.

She quickly drove off. She was just a suicidal bomb ready to go off. Any bridges or steep hills that lead into nothing but pure misery and pain for somebody just looked fantastic for her. Julius, a handsome Italian from Venice, was close friend of hers from her teen years. Of course, he had an interest in her of course. But she wanted her red head German boy. The one she fell for in high school, the one she cheer leaded for the most at his football games. The one that supported him through all the rough patches of his horrible life at home. The one that would wait until 4:30 in the morning to get back from hanging out with his team members. The one that helped him when he was broken from being kicked out of football. He was her everything to her, and everybody she knew, knew that she was breaking in two.

Lost in her thoughts about her German boyfriend, she had lost all control over her body. She was done. She just wanted to end this pain. Just as she lost control of her body and mind, lost control of the vehicle. Spinning and flipping into a deep ditch. Squeal of the tires on pavement. Glass shattering. Blood splattering. Pain filling. Darkness soon coming over. But the last image she saw was not of the blood all over her airbag, not the glass that had ripped into her, not the rocks that had destroyed her car. She saw the image of her beloved smiling at her. That smile. Oh how she loved it.  As she stayed strapped in her car by her seatbelt, despite the pain she was starting to feel as it all came to her, she couldn't help but smile back at the image of her Leon. "Leon.." is the words she muttered as it all went dark and the image disappeared.

Many days had passed. Silvanna had survived her emotional, mindless suicide attempt and was put into a hospital in Italy. With that many days, many were worried about her. Julius sat at her side, worried to hell and back about her, of course. Along with many other friends from high school, including her own father and two people she claimed as her mother and brother, Katja and Koka Buurah,  had come. Silvanna stirred, taking a second to refocus from the lights in the room. Soon the blur of the people in the room came into forms. Noses. Lips. Eyes. Hair. She took a second to look at all her friends and loved ones. They all waited, hoping her memory wasn't whipped from the accident, even if the injuries were that bad. Lucky for her, it was just some deep cuts and tons of bruises. But soon turned their attention to the door as it quickly opened.

"SILVANNA. OH MY GOD. WHAT THE HELL HAPPNED TO YOU!?" Silvanna looked over to her name, and her eyes widened. Leon stood in the doorway, huffing. Obviously he ran to the room as quickly as he could, the most worried expression on his face. Silvanna stared. 'I have to be dreaming. They said he was…'
Leon just stepped over to her, cupped his hands gently around her and just kissed her, snapping her out of her trance. She kissed back, realizing this isn't a dream. She just started crying as she started to come back. Leon hugged her closely.

They stayed like this for what seemed like hours. Quietly embracing each other. Just overly happy that they were in each others arms again. To be together. The doctor ordered everybody out eventually to check up on Silvanna. The others nodded and left, used to this procedure by this point. Leon turned before leaving and asked Silvanna to meet him by the patients dock. The doctor smiled, he had seen this plenty of times between a boy and a girl, and he wasn't going to hold them back. After all, Silvanna had only bad cuts and bruises. She could probably be dismissed that night.

The doctor helped her to the doors leading out to the patients dock. He described to Silvanna that it's the place where patients can get some fresh air and have the beach right there to relax next too. Silvanna smiled. She loved the beach. She was able to walk on her own now, and dismissed the doctor. She carefully headed out to the doors and opened them. Her heart skipped a beat when she laid eyes on him. His red hair gently blowing in the breeze with the lovely highlight of the bright full moon over head. He turned and smiled at her. Stepping over and taking her hands and kissing her forehead he said "You worry the living shit out of me. " Silvanna chuckled, and smiled. "But the letter said you had been killed on the line of battle..."  She frowned and looked up at the handsome German.  Leon blinked and frowned. "Silvanna... You must not have gotten the letter I sent right after telling you I was okay." Silvanna shook her head. "No... No I didn't."
Leon sighed and explained. "They assumed that everybody on that field died that day since they dropped a bomb on us. I was the only one that came back after a few days. By then, they sent out the letters." He rested his forehead against hers,staring into each others eyes. Oh god how she loved his blue eyes. The reminded her of the ocean. "And..Silvanna." He said softly. "Letters can never separate us."

God damn.

Anyways, I got the stock photo from here: [link] and edited it to look like Leon and Silvanna.

Also the full moon tonight is what inspired me to write this whole hoop-blah.fajdklsfhaslk

Anyways, somewhat based off an rp, even though in the rp, Leon didn't 'die' and actually came home. :heart: :iconjarryplz:

Anyways, Sorry if this is WAY out of character for some of them. e-e; Some of the situations I figured they would have done something probably more in line of what they originally would, but it wouldn't fit with the rest of the story. ;n;
Please ignore any grammar mistakes. It's earily. :c I'm not good at writing;;;

This really touched me. It's kinda like what happened with a couple of characters of mine, but in WWII and he actually did die, but it happened with a similar emotional turmoil.
